After years of putting my head down and building my business, I realised how isolating entrepreneurship can become. Photographing a Her Seat event in Melbourne reminded me why getting out of the studio, meeting other women in business and simply putting yourself in the right rooms matters.

I'm turning 30 in two years, and lately I've been wondering how I'd one day balance being a mum with running a business. Then I started meeting women who are already navigating their own versions of both. This is the first story in Stories from Her.
