YSL Concept Shoot
One of the best parts about concept shoots isn’t even always the final photos.
It’s the collaboration.
Getting a group of creatives together: photographers, stylists, makeup artists, models, assistants; all bringing different ideas, perspectives, and energy into one space.
Our latest editorial-style concept shoot was exactly that. With 9 people on set!
A day of creating, experimenting, problem-solving, moving furniture around, testing lighting, bouncing ideas off each other, and building something together from scratch.
No huge campaign pressure.
No overly corporate structure.
Just people who genuinely enjoy creating.
And honestly, shoots like this are such a good reminder that creativity works best collaboratively.
The Concept:
Styled by the incredibly talented Tristan, this concept explored two contrasting eras of Yves Saint Laurent through a modern editorial lens.
LOOK 1 & 2
Bella embodied the softer, sleeker energy of Spring/Summer YSL, sharp tailoring, exaggerated bows, sheer textures, and feminine silhouettes.
LOOK 3 & 4
While Eliza stepped into the richer, moodier world of Fall/Winter YSL with layered textures, fur, leather, and deeper tonal styling. Two models, two looks each, showcasing the contrast between softness and structure, lightness and intensity, all tied together through Tristan’s strong eye for storytelling and styling direction.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in
