How to Prepare for Your Shoot
We're excited to create with you.
A little preparation before your session helps us make the most of our time together and ensures a smooth shoot day for everyone involved.
Below is a guide for each type of session we offer.
Personal Photos
-
Whether you're celebrating a birthday, capturing a new chapter, or simply doing this for yourself, here's how you can prepare to make the most of your session.
Outfits
Depending on how many hours you’ve booked. Please bring at least 2 outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Think about different looks (casual, dressy, or something that reflects your personality) and avoid clothing with large logos or distracting graphics unless they're intentionally part of your style.Hair & Makeup
Come camera-ready if you're doing your own hair and makeup. If you've booked a professional hair or makeup artist, simply arrive with clean, dry hair and a fresh face unless advised otherwise.Bring Inspiration
If you have a Pinterest board or a few photos you love, feel free to send them through beforehand. They're a great starting point and help me understand the overall mood and style you're drawn to.Accessories
Feel free to bring along jewellery, hats, sunglasses, flowers, books, instruments, balloons, or any meaningful props that help tell your story and make the photos feel uniquely you.Rest & Hydrate
A good night's sleep and staying hydrated can make a big difference in how you feel in front of the camera.Relax & Have Fun
You don't need to know how to pose, that's my job!I'll guide you throughout the session so you can simply enjoy the experience. The best photos happen when you're relaxed, comfortable, and having fun.

Whether you're updating your LinkedIn profile, company website, or team directory, preparation helps us create professional and consistent imagery.

This helps us move efficiently through the team within the allotted session time.
Please provide:
A list of all team members' names
A coordinator who can introduce each team member as they arrive
A designated shooting space with minimal interruptions
This ensures a seamless experience and allows us to photograph everyone efficiently.
